Kindness 101 Summer Volunteer Project

single-event_bg.jpg

Class 101 Douglas County, CO is offering a 4-week program for rising 9th – 12th grade students to encourage a habit of giving, develop awareness, and empower them to use their own time, talent, and treasure (the 3T’s) to create a positive impact in their community.

Students will learn about philanthropy, identify their 3T’s, discuss their personal passions, create a vision for their philanthropy project, develop an action plan, execute their project, and find ways to continue their efforts going forward. We will be using Project Heart, the OtterCares Philanthropy curriculum to facilitate this project.

The session dates are:
June 10 – 14 | 8am – 10am
June 24 – 28 | 8am – 10am
July 8 – 12 | 8am – 10am
July 22 – 26 | 8am – 10am
Project execution dates to be determined.

Students will receive up to 40 community service hours (missed days will result in reduced hours). Students that attend all sessions and are a part of the community service project from inception to completion will receive a high school graduation cord.

To register, please RSVP below. Space is limited. Class 101 Douglas County, CO will confirm within 48-hours.
