Class of 2027 Youth Salute Application Now Open
Youth salute application is now live. Current juniors can nominate themselves for this prestigious academic honor. Use this link and if your school isn’t listed, choose “other”. This year, the Central Kentucky Council on Youth Leadership, will sponsor the 46th annual “Youth Salute” in cooperation with the National Council on Youth Leadership. The purpose of this program is to honor high school juniors in your community who maintain a high scholastic average and have demonstrated leadership ability.
Upcoming SAT Dates
As we shared in an earlier email back in June, the state of Kentucky is no longer partnered with ACT, and beginning this year, the free state-funded junior assessment will be the SAT. Taking the October test is an excellent way for students to establish a baseline and begin preparing for the state test in the spring. There is a link below for registration and future testing sites and dates.
October 4: NLHS, Rockcastle, Madison Southern
November 8: NLHS, Whitley, OBI, Madison Southern
December 6: Whitley, Rockcastle, OBI, Madison Southern
