Kim Sutton, owner of Class 101-Peachtree City, is a motivated educator with over 20 years of experience that excels in communication, instruction, and collaboration. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Spelman College, a Master’s degree in education with a focus on reading instruction from the University of West Georgia, and an Educational Specialist degree in educational leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. Kim has worked and led in various educational environments as a principal, literacy coach, and as an instructor to students of all ages and abilities. While serving as an administrator, she received the Northwest Arkansas Special Needs Advocate Award and a Life-time Achievement Award for her accomplishments and unwavering dedication to student growth. A skilled and resourceful planner, Kim has a gift to connect with students to provide guidance to empower and enable them to achieve their fullest potential. As a mother of two adult sons, she understands the value of individual personalities and uses this knowledge to equip students with essential tools to help them shape their futures and develop their confidence. Her mission is to guide students through the college readiness process and encourage them to envision the many possibilities. Kim’s passion and commitment to the community as a servant-leader has positioned her to volunteer with various charities, school, and community organizations. Aside from her accomplishments, Kim enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and reading.

Elvin J. Sutton, Esq.

Owner

Elvin J. Sutton, Jr. is an accomplished attorney and corporate executive with over twenty-five years of corporate legal experience. Elvin is a proud graduate of Morehouse College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Emory University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor. He has a passion for empowering others and mentoring students and professionals a like. Elvin’s impact and legacy of helping others to reach their fullest potential has been seen at all levels from students in high school, college, law school, junior attorneys and seasoned professionals. Owning Class 101-Peachtree City and providing affordable college planning is a natural extension of my heart for stewarding the next generation. As the father of two young adult sons, I know firsthand the guidance and encouragement that young people need to be able to walk into their futures with confidence and purpose.

Toriano Parker, MSW

College Planner

Mr. Toriano Parker is a dedicated college access professional, counselor, and social worker with over a decade of experience helping students unlock their full potential. Hailing from Charlotte, NC, by way of Eastern North Carolina, Mr. Parker has devoted his career to guiding students through the complex college admissions process, ensuring they make informed and empowering decisions for their futures.

A proud alumnus of Elizabeth City State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Mr. Parker furthered his academic journey at Clark Atlanta University, obtaining a Master of Social Work degree. His diverse academic background has shaped his holistic approach to counseling, providing students with the support and guidance they need to succeed not only academically but also personally.

Currently serving as a college counselor at Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School in Atlanta, GA, Mr. Parker is instrumental in helping high school students navigate the college admissions landscape. In addition to his role at Cristo Rey, he is an independent education consultant with Access 2 Admissions, where he works with students to build customized paths to higher education. His dedication extends to his summer work with Odyssey Atlanta, where he serves as the college counselor for their eight-week program, helping rising seniors prepare for both their final year of high school and the college admissions process.

Mr. Parker is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., a testament to his commitment to leadership and service. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys traveling, attending live music events, and exploring new restaurants, all of which provide him with a balance of relaxation and inspiration.
