What Juniors Should Do Before January to Stay Ahead (And How Super Junior Makes It Easier)

The Super Junior program helps families in Waukesha and Brookfield head into senior year with a plan.
In Waukesha and Brookfield, Class 101 students are working through the seven key steps of the Super Junior campaign,.

Junior year can feel like the calm before the storm, but for the Class of 2027, these next few weeks are the perfect chance to get ahead. The decisions, deadlines, and stress that seniors are facing right now don’t have to be your future, especially if you use December wisely. That’s exactly what our Super Junior program at Class 101 is built for: giving juniors a smart, structured head start before the new year arrives.

The first priority is grades. Junior year performance is one of the biggest factors colleges consider, and there is still time to finish the semester strong. Students in the Super Junior program review their current classes, identify any weak spots, and build a plan to finish the term with confidence.

Next, this is the ideal time to map out a test prep timeline. The ACT offer test dates in February and March, dates that align perfectly with the preparation roadmaps built into Super Junior. Starting now allows students to spread out practice, avoid cramming, and aim for scores that open doors to scholarships and selective programs.

December is also a great moment for college exploration. Winter break gives students time to research majors, take virtual tours, and start shaping a college list. In Super Junior, we turn this exploration into strategy by matching preferences, interests, and academic goals to real institutions.

Finally, juniors should spend a little time on their activity résumé. Colleges look for depth, consistency, and impact, something the Super Junior program tracks and organizes so students can present their accomplishments clearly next fall.

The bottom line: juniors who start now reduce stress, build momentum, and enter senior year prepared, not panicked. If you want your student to take advantage of the coming year instead of reacting to it, our Super Junior program is the perfect place to start.

Students in southeastern Wisconsin have the added benefit of being able to work directly with the Class 101 Waukesha-Brookfield team at 15850 West Bluemound, right across from Brookfield Square.

This time of year is always fascinating to watch. Seniors are posting acceptance photos. Families are comparing financial aid packages. Group texts are full of “Where are you going?” conversations. Some students feel relieved. Others are recalculating. A few are surprised by final costs in ways they did not anticipate a year ago. If you […]
