Before talking with Class 101, I thought that I wanted to go to a big state school. Then, I sat down with Teege, and he helped me develop a list of characteristics that were important to me, and we got down to a list of five smaller schools. I ended up choosing Clarke University, where I spent all four years, and I loved it. I actually ended up being valedictorian of my graduating class and am now continuing my education at The Medical College of Wisconsin.

I’m really glad that Class 101 helped me decide on UW-Whitewater. I’ve gotten some amazing opportunities, and the skills and knowledge I’ve gained so far has helped me land jobs like working for a AA baseball team and interning at the local news in Little Rock. I initially thought I wanted to attend another institution, but now I know that for my interests, this was definitely the right choice.

So, this was actually a really big help to my parents. They were really unsure of the college process … they were just as confused as I was. Questions I had, they also had the same questions. They knew they could send me over to Teege and that he would help guide me and answer questions I was unsure of. Every email I got, I would ask Teege, “What does this mean? Is this something I actually have to fill out?”
