What do you give a teenager who has everything?

In our experience, it can be hard shopping for teenagers. A few years ago we noticed more and more people coming to Class 101 around the holidays, looking to gift a granddaughter or son a package from Class 101. They were looking to give an experience, not something that would be thrown away or forgotten by next year’s holiday.

We have been impressed with the thoughtfulness of these family members looking to gift something meaningful and realizing that the impact of a gift like college prep will been seen for years to come. It is truly the gift that keeps on giving.

So this year, if you are stuck and searching for that perfect gift idea, we have you covered!

How we prepare students for their future
Class 101 offers comprehensive college planning (often called college prep) for students starting in 8th grade through senior year. Through one-on-one meetings with an experienced college advisor and group courses like test prep and essay workshops throughout the year, Class 101 prepares students for their future and sets them up to be highly competitive for opportunities that come their way.

Some of the services Class 101 offers in our packages include:
● Setting collegiate goals and identifying student interests
● Developing a personalized college list
● DISC analysis and identifying student interests/selecting a major
● Guidance on high school course selection
● Setting GPA goals and working on study skills
● ACT, SAT, and PSAT Test Prep instruction
● Detailed test score reports with personalized coaching
● Establishing an ACT/SAT baseline score and assess student trends
● Creating a college resume + developing a resume separator
● Guidance on high school involvement and volunteer opportunities
● College application and deadline management
● Scholarship application and deadline management
● FAFSA guidance and support
● Admission interview coaching

A gift that keeps on giving
A Class 101 package is a gift that will last well after the holiday season. Many of our families also see it as an investment. Last year, our Class 101 students received an average of $371,700 in financial assistance and many went to college for free. That is the type of gift we wish for all students!
