Class 101-Dayton Awards President’s Volunteer Service Award to Springboro Senior

Class 101-Dayton is proud to announce that Vincent Vorrasi has been honored with the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) at the Bronze Level. This prestigious award recognizes Vincent’s exceptional dedication and significant contributions to our community through volunteer service. The PVSA, an initiative of AmeriCorps and administered by Points of Light, recognizes the vital role volunteers play in enhancing America’s strength and national identity.

The PVSA Bronze Level award is bestowed upon individuals who complete 100 hours or more of volunteer service over a 12-month period. Among his many hours, Vincent serves on the Miracle Field Board, and he also volunteers as a Miracle Field Buddy. Through Vincent’s unwavering commitment to Miracle Field and the opportunities that it provides, Vincent has demonstrated the true spirit of volunteerism. “Receiving the President’s Volunteer Service Award is a testament to Vincent’s dedication and passion for helping others,” said Karen Lane DeRosa, Owner, Class 101-Dayton. “We are incredibly honored to recognize him with this award!”

Inspired by how much time their students give to improve the world around them, Class 101-Dayton recently became a certifying organization for the PVSA. U.S. citizens or lawful permanent U.S. residents are eligible for the PVSA in four age groups: Kid (5-10 years), Teen (11-15), Young Adult (16-25), and Adult (26+). Class 101-Dayton is a certifying organization for all age groups and PVSA awards. Volunteers must complete eligible service within a 12-month period with verification (for annual Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards).
