When it comes to college planning, junior year is crunch time! Our Class of 2027 students are less than 9 months away from starting applications. This reality can create stress for students and families.
Here’s the good news:
Instead of scrambling or feeling overwhelmed,families can take proactive steps NOW to get your entire college planning process under control.
That’s where Class 101-Lexington’s Super Junior program can transform the experience from stressful to strategic.
What is the Super Junior Program?
Our Super Junior program provides students with the opportunity to complete 7 essential college planning goals by February 8th, 2026. That’s Super Bowl Sunday.
Why is this important? Because students who start strong in junior year finish senior year calm continent, and ahead of the curve.
Working with your Class 101-Lexington college advisor, you will be checking these 7 items off your list:
☑️ Creating a college list. Creating a list of appropriate colleges to which the student will apply. This list is based on the student’s factors and what’s important to them in the colleges they pursue.
☑️ Visiting three college campuses. Official campus tours help students gain clarity about size, fit, opportunities, and community.
☑️ Establishing a baseline test prep score. We encourage students to continue work toward test improvement. Students will have the opportunity to determine if the ACT or the SAT is their better choice.
☑️ Identifying Top Ten Test Prep Trends. Identifying specific areas for improvement helps a student determine their test prep game plan and focus efforts.
Class 101 Lexington will provide the following opportunities to take a practice test, establish a baseline score and identify trends
Community ACT test-December 27, 2025 and January 31, 2026 10:00 am-1:00 pm
Community SAT test-January 3, 2026 and January 17, 2026 10:00 am-1:00 pm

☑️ Completing a DISC Assessment. This is a behavioral analysis that will move you closer to determining a major if you are not certain.
☑️ Creating a Resume. A resume allows you to show college how you spend your time. Remember, colleges are looking for leaders!
☑️ Attending a Parent Meeting -Communication is key when it comes to college planning, so we will meet with families to show application preparation.
