January is when ACT questions start piling up.
Should my student test in February?
Do they need prep first?
Is it too early? Too late?
Before answering any of those, there’s one step that almost always comes first: getting a real baseline score. That’s what makes a Mock ACT so valuable, especially this time of year.
A Mock ACT isn’t about pressure or performance. It’s about information.
Too often, students and families try to make testing decisions without knowing where they stand. They rely on assumptions, past PSAT results, or a vague sense of “doing okay in math.” A full-length, proctored Mock ACT provides something much more useful: clarity.
Taking a Mock ACT in January helps students:
This matters for both juniors and seniors. Juniors gain an early, low-stress entry point into spring testing and scholarship strategy. Seniors who are still testing can determine whether another attempt is worth their time and energy.
That’s why we’re hosting a Mock ACT on Saturday, January 17 at Class 101 Brookfield. Students will take a full-length practice exam and leave with actionable insights they can actually use, whether that means starting prep, adjusting a timeline, or deciding they’re already in a good place.
There’s no downside to information. A Mock ACT doesn’t lock students into anything. It simply replaces uncertainty with data.
If your family has been unsure about next steps with testing, this is often the smartest place to start.
