Deferred, waitlisted and denied are three different situations. Most families treat them as three grades of the same bad news, and it costs them a month.
Teege Mettille spent two decades inside college admissions and enrollment management, up to the vice-president level. He has written these letters, defended these decisions in committee, and built the models that produced them. In this free 45-minute session, he walks families through what each decision actually means and what is still in their hands.
You’ll leave knowing:
Who this is for: Families of seniors waiting on early decisions or already holding one, and families of juniors who want to understand the process before they are inside it. Underclass parents are welcome and will learn more here than at any other session this year.
Every registrant receives the two-page take-home sheet, including the letter of continued interest skeleton and the aid reconsideration template, whether or not you attend live. The session is recorded and sent to everyone who registers.
Bring the actual wording of your decision letter. Teege can usually tell you what it means.
Presented by Teege Mettille, Class 101 Waukesha-Brookfield · 15850 W Bluemound Rd, Suite 101 · Author of College Is Broken.

Once a month I sit down for forty-five minutes and explain one piece of college admissions or financial aid the way it actually works, and then the recording goes here, where anyone can watch it whenever they want. I will also sprinkle in additional recordings along the way. I […]
