About the Scholarship:

Since 2017, Class 101 has sponsored the 101 Scholars Program, giving students nationwide the opportunity to compete for $1,000 to help them make college more affordable. To date, ten students have received this recognition.

This year, four scholarships will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate excellence in leadership, community involvement and academic achievement.

How to Apply:

To apply, students have two options. They can create a video between 1-2 minutes or write a maximum 500-word personal statement. Students will choose from one of the two prompts below:

  1. Describe a moment that pushed you to make a change. What did you do, and what was the end result?
  2. Talk about one of your unique skills or talents. How have you used it to help your community?

Students should submit all materials to Class101.com/101scholar with the file or YouTube title ‘101Scholar_Full Name of Student_Name of High School_Graduation Year’. Students who choose to follow the video prompt should upload their video to YouTube unlisted.

When is the Deadline:

Students can begin submitting applications on March 1, 2022. All completed applications must be submitted by 11:59 EST on May 1, 2022.
