SAT Test Prep Courses: Online & In-Person

Standardized testing often seems like an impossible task for high school students. They can feel an overwhelming sense of anxiety and pressure. However, prep courses relieve those feelings and make students prepared for any challenge. We believe competence equals confidence.

That’s why Class 101 offers a prep course for standardized tests tailored to the needs of each student. These courses address the ACT, SAT, and PSAT.

Today, we will discuss the SAT, a three-hour, three-section standardized test. Reading, Writing & Language, and Math (calculator and no calculator). These components are used by colleges to measure and compare applicants’ readiness for college on a scale of 400–1600.

Class 101’s courses can help your student train their brain to be a better test-taker. With our personalized classes and commitment from the student, they can significantly improve their test scores.

How Our Classes Work

Class 101 offers in-person classes and an online platform to prepare students for the SAT.

We hold three- and six-week classes. Each week, we focus on a specific section of the exam. Each class reviews sample problems and discusses strategies to solve them. At the end of the class, students test the section and receive a score report. This helps them identify their top ten trends- the areas they need to improve.

For our full-time students, we offer personalized reviews during our meetings for those needs. Before students leave the class, they receive ongoing assignments to complete for the next week as well as tips for the section.

Outside of the classroom, students complete lessons on our online platform. If a student misses a question, they can watch a video solution through the online platform. To keep students accountable, weekly progress updates are sent to parents which include time spent on the platform and the number of completed tasks for the week.

Our fall ACT and SAT test prep courses are beginning to fill up! Take advantage of this opportunity while it lasts by reaching out to one of our locations near you and registering your student for a prep course because practice makes progress!
